Stay549 is a registered and fully licensed Short Term Rental property in the heart of Charleswood. In order to ensure the best experience for all guests we have provided some questions and answers to help ensure that everyone has the best stay possible.
Question: What is the minimum age to stay at Stay549?
Answer: The minimum age to stay with us at Stay549 is 18.
Question: Can I bring my infant/baby onsite?
Answer: Adults only 18+ we do not permit infants or children onsite.
Question: Can I bring a pet?
Answer: Stay549 does not permit pets.
Question: Do you have an elevator?
Answer: Stay549 does not have a elevator.
Question: Can I bring some friends to visit at Stay549?
Answer: Only registered guests can visit the property. This ensures that ID has been confirmed for all guests onsite for the safety of our guests and that the amenities will be available for use by all registered guests and not crowded.
Question: Can I bring additional guests not staying at Stay549 to the pool?
Summer Day passes for additional family/friends are available on a first come basis and a max of 2 passes per room per day can be purchased on the online store. Day pass guests can access the deck and pool area from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Guests must be offsite promptly by 4pm no exceptions.
Question: Can I smoke inside?
Answer: We do not permit smoking of any kind inside the home. We have a designated smoking area onsite in the back of the property.
Question: Can I walk around in the front of the property or smoke in my car?
Answer: Our of respect for our neighbors we ask guests to stay to the back of the property and not to smoke in their vehicles.
Question: Do you have quiet hours?
Answer: Quiet time is 10PM Sunday-Thursday and 11PM Friday & Saturday to ensure that our guests get a restful sleep this means that all common areas and amenities are closed after 10 and 11pm as noted above.
Question: Do you offer early or late check-in/out?
Answer: Yes, subject to an additional charge and availability See the Shop Stay549 app or on the website.
Question: Is there a BBQ for use?
Answer: Yes you can use the BBQ the charge is $30 per 30 minutes.
Question: Do I have to wear a bathing suit?
Answer: Yes you must wear a bathing suit, no street clothes, tshirts or underwear permitted. We do have suits that we can lend to people just ask us!
Question: Is there air-conditioning in the house, geodome and cottage?
Answer: Yes we have air-conditioning in all units.
Question: Can I use a fridge in the geodome or cottage?
Answer: Fridge is available for free with Deluxe cottage and Geodome.
Question: Do you have laundry service available?
Answer: Yes we have Guest Laundry available now in the lower level. Ask us for the code to access the room.

Question: Is parking included?
Answer: 1 parking space is included for each room rental. Additional parking is available on the street for no charge or when available, can be purchased using the Stay549 Shop app. Large vehicle parking for RV, Campers and Trailers can be requested on the Stay549 Shop app.
Question: Can I have 3 or 4 people in my room, geodome or cottage?
Answer: We are licensed by the City of Winnipeg for a maximum of 2 people per room, therefore we are unable to accommodate requests for 3 or more per room. Guests can book more than 1 room to accommodate their additional guests.
Question: Can I have a bonfire onsite?
Answer: All room rentals can utilize the bonfire area on a first come first serve basis. Wood must be purchased under activities on the Stay549 Shop, guests are not permitted to bring their own wood. Sound travels please keep noise down for campers and fires should be out by 11pm on Weekdays and Midnight on Weekends.
Question: Can I purchase food and drinks onsite?
Answer: Yes food and beverage service is available on the Shop app.
Question: Can I smoke marijuana onsite?
Marijuana is permitted onsite in designated areas. No smoking of any kind permitted in the geodome, cabins or room stay.
Question: What if it rains can I get a refund?
We understand that it can be disappointing when it rains but we encourage guests to make the best of it and enjoy their stay. No refunds for rain or snow.
